Women in Film.Dallas announces its 12th Annual Chick Flicks Film Festival that will be held October 3, 2013. It's a short film competition for female filmmakers from across the Lone Star state! Submissions open in April. Keeping checking back for more details.

The festival is an important fundraiser for WIF.D to provide scholarships for women and female students in the film industry. Scholarship and grant winners are presented their award the closing night of the festival.
