Women In Film Dallas (WIFD) Scholastic Grant Fund is a non-profit organization and is part of a global community that empowers, promotes and mentors women in film, television and the digital media industry through networking, recognition and educational opportunities. 
| The 2019 WIFD ARRI Camera Course Grant was awarded to a WIFD member to aid in the development of their career in the film industry.  The ARRI Certified User Training for Camera Systems course (a $1500 value) is a training course that covers all aspects of shooting with the ALEXA LF, ALEXA SXT, ALEXA Mini and AMIRA. The applicant chose between 2 course dates: November 7-9, 2019 in Brooklyn, NY OR December 12-14, 2019 in Burbank, CA. The award recipient received financial reimbursement to cover travel related costs (up to $1500), thanks to Top Pup Media. The recognition of the recipient took place during the WIFD Topaz Film Festival Awards Ceremony on September 21, 2019. |
