As the industry continues to evolve in Dallas, talented freelancers have been a huge part of putting - and keeping - the city on the map as a go-to destination for television and film. Join Women in Film.Dallas for an intimate conversation with some of our most successful, hardest working freelancers for a one-night only panel discussion on August 25. Come learn more about this exciting path, ask questions, find out how you (or someone you know) can make a career in freelancing.

Panelists include:
Rondi Hillstrom Davis, who has worked as an independent costume designer for over 25 years, has strived to find inventive production solutions to engage both the audience and corporate partners. With multiple TV and film credits to her name, including Full Moon in Blue Water and The Big Green, Davis is a valued part of the Dallas production community.
Publicist Kelly J. Kitchens is a name synonymous with Dallas freelancing. She has owned and operated Kelly J. Kitchens Media Relations/Entertainment Publicity for two decades, helping her clients utilize online journalism and the rising popularity of social media.
Fonya Mondell is the head of production for Media 13, and works as a director/producer for commercials, PSAs, and reality TV shows. She currently has three series airing on network Television, including Children’s Med Dallas. Fonya produced and directed the behind the scenes webisodes for Prison Break and The Good Guys when they were in production in Dallas.
Art Department Coordinator Michelle Young has almost a decade of experience in local film and television production. She built, painted, shopped for, and decorated sets for Texas films Walking Tall 2 and 3, Exit Speed, The Beacon, and Brotherhood. She worked on the pilots for the 2011 fall series’ A House Divided, Good Christian Bitches, and Dallas.
Producer Glenda Reynolds has worked with such high-profile corporate clients as Vizio, Nike, Sony, American Express, and the Texas Lottery. As a producer she is responsible for supervising and managing all aspects of commercial production while maintaining the client’s creative and personalized message.
Moderator Alexandra Pursglove served as a production assistant on Warner Brother's Inception, Relativity Media's The Fighter, and HBO's The Pacific; as the talent coordinator on multiple commercial spots with RSA Films, Inc; as the publicity assistant for Summit Entertainment's Twilight; and as the production secretary for NBC’s Chase. Currently, Alexandra works as the Production Manager for M3 Films, LLC.
