Day 2 - Chick Flicks Festival "Who Does She Think She Is" at the Modern in Ft Worth

The Chick Flicks Festival expands to Tarrant County with this free screening presented by Women In Film.Dallas, The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and The Women's Center.

Who Does She Think She Is?, a documentary by Academy Award winning filmmaker Pamela Tanner Boll, follows the struggle and triumph of five female artists who refuse to choose between motherhood and career. The film features a theatre actress, a painter, a sculptor, and two other artists that create across several platforms.

A paramount issue the director brings up is whether people can name five female artists. A question, which leaves many she asks speechless. After you watch this film, you’ll be able to pass the test! A brief Q&A with the audience will follow the screening.

 

This film won Best Documentary at the Baltimore Women’s Film Festival and the Savannah Film Festival in 2008.
